It’s a lovely journey we cherish as we go along  Amid the chaos, some people come as a soothing song  Their rhythm syncs with your heart and plays a tune so beautiful  Everything pauses, nothingness seems wonderful  As stories emerge from their lips they lend a twinkle to your eyes  In that moment, you find the vibe that makes you rise  Rise from your worries, you become one with the narrative & cheer It’s a soulful connection with immense power, & no room for fear  This bond cannot be named, it’s meant to be felt from within We owe them for their goodness, for teaching us ways to conquer life & win 

A kiss on the forehead makes me feel fine But a kiss on my soul is the one that makes you mine  A kiss on my cheeks will make me blush  But a kiss on my soul will send a rush  A kiss on my lips will start a passionate story  But a kiss on my soul will be my favourite memory  A kiss on my body will make me shiver with joy  But a kiss on my soul will make me feel powerful, not coy  A kiss on my mind will fade never   But a kiss on my soul will linger forever

  Don’t be so busy securing your future,  That you forget to cherish the present.  Life isn’t in the ‘will be’, it’s in the moment.  If you love someone, make them your priority, If that seems like a task, let then go with maturity. Relationships are a two way street, You need to work to make ends meet. Efforts are important & so is giving time,  It can’t be a monologue or a mime. Invest in your love, make every moment count, Live the feeling, don’t let tensions mount.  Ambitions are important and so is the person who loves you beyond measure, Nothing can replace their love which you need to treasure.  It’s not about spending on lavish surprises & presents, Love is about spending time and making memories with little moments.

Some wounds are deeper than what eyes can see, Some words are more ferocious than weapons can ever be, Some instances of life that we try to forget, Some moments of pain that we often regret. But that’s life and it’s supposed to be cherished anyway, Pain is integral to value happiness they say, Nothing is more precious than your lovely smile, So, celebrate life with all its experiences in great style.

Enchanted by his words, she blushed as he spoke, Smiled at his wit, laughed at his jokes Watching the sunset on the beach, they walked hand in hand And a love story blossomed as they played with the sand He was full of energy & excitement  She smiled at him with pure amazement There were no inhibitions no pretense Words flowed like water, gracefully weaving each sentence They sipped a little wine, had some delicious dinner  Soft music played in the background, such a heart winner   No traces of judgments, just transparent conversations They enjoyed each other with their imperfections  Chaos was beautiful, so was their vibe, They made a perfect couple, a tiny little tribe!

As worries surround, tensions increase,  Fear engulfs & our emotions freeze. Amidst this panic, let’s wish for some peace,  May chaos calm & rumours cease. They say adopt social distancing,  work from home. Stay safe indoors,  not to unnecessarily roam.   In times like these, one contemplates to find, That entropy is mightier than mankind.  Be grateful for what’s there & follow the norm, As you watch the world  go through a scary storm.   This too shall pass, we’ll find a way, To get rid of the hazard &  keep the chaos away.  

Love is a feeling, an emotion that’s pure, Unconditional & divine, it’s a powerful cure. Cures you of the pain & brings in cheer, Makes you smile, shuns the fear. True love never leaves, neither does it betray, It stays forever, come what may.  It befriends you in a way that’s magical,  It gives you hope even when things don’t seem logical. A dose of delight, love makes you feel strong, Brightens up your face, brings new dreams along.  Gifts you with a new perspective to live, Helps you forget the issues & easily forgive.  Celebrate this emotion, cherish each moment along the way,  Let every day be a Valentine’s Day!

A damsel in distress, innocent to the core.  Pretty old school, but definitely not a bore Unique in her persona, something really rare A true enigma beyond compare She swirled with the wind, spoke to the flowers Searched for tranquil amidst the rising towers Towers of ego, of greed and desire, Her hope for the best ignited a fire A fire that lit up the world around  With smiles and laughter to surround She’d give no importance to possessions or things She’d look for hidden answers and deeper meanings  Meanings in why people are the way they are Answers to why people change when in power She wants to live a happy life Even if it’s filled with struggles and strife No one knows what’s in her mind, She isn’t ordinary, she’s one of a kind A beautiful chaos she seems to be The perfectly intriguing mystery!

Those bonds of love, of trust and care, That give us strength & promise to be there. Priceless memories of a wonderful past, That give us new perspectives and lessons that last. The memories make us what we are today,  They give us bliss and happiness in every way. Those moments of joy and laughter we share, Which light up our lives beyond compare. Relations are those jewels which enhance the beauty in our life, They give us the support and courage to face any strife. Deep within me hides a different me, It doesn't fear anything, it feels free. No regrets of the past, no worries of tomorrow, Smiling with glee, no signs of any sorrow. It dreams and believes in the impossible, Optimistic to the core, even if something isn't feasible. There's no 'can't' in it, just a will to achieve, Mature beyond words, hopeful and ready to believe. It teaches me to be brave and keep moving ahead, It tells me not worry about what others have said. I was never meant to fit in anyway said my mind, It taught me to enjoy life and happily unwind. It's adventurous and oh so ambitious, Forgets to take care and be cautious. But that's a fun side to explore, It loves to dance, it knows to roar!

Droplets like pearls all around, Gushing water that surrounds Yes! It’s finally raining and how! Lovely to see the clouds take a bow! Lightening and a thunderous laughter from the skies, Make me wonder at the nature and the rising tides. Soft music, hot pakoras and rains, such a delight! Sit and wonder in disbelief at nature’s might. Some call it a nuisance, some call it a mess, But I love the rains, it fills me with joy and happiness! It’s the season of romance, of poetry and music, Makes everything seem lovely and unique! Rains are a celebration of love and beauty, Of thrill and adventure in plenty! So cherish the showers and dance in the rain, Life’s meant to be enjoyed, don’t be sane! Happy Monsoon!
