The Inner Me

Deep within me hides a different me,

It doesn't fear anything, it feels free.

No regrets of the past, no worries of tomorrow,

Smiling with glee, no signs of any sorrow.

It dreams and believes in the impossible,

Optimistic to the core, even if something isn't feasible.

There's no 'can't' in it, just a will to achieve,

Mature beyond words, hopeful and ready to believe.

It teaches me to be brave and keep moving ahead,

It tells me not worry about what others have said.

I was never meant to fit in anyway said my mind,

It taught me to enjoy life and happily unwind.

It's adventurous and oh so ambitious,

Forgets to take care and be cautious.

But that's a fun side to explore,

It loves to dance, it knows to roar!
