My Tiny 'Crush'

He came, I saw, he conquered,
Smitten, I quietly pondered.

What was it about him that made me blush,
His eyes were hypnotic, his voice sent a rush.

Genuinely caring he'd hold my hand,
And I would skip a beat, just quietly stand.

He'd flirt & I'd flirt right back,
Innocence it was, tact he lacked.

A man of his word, he'd care for everyone,
Loved his beer and for a puff he'd run,

Jokes apart, a loving friend I found,
In a world of fakes all around...
